This was during the 2007-2008 NBA season, around December 30, 2007, during a Lakers game against the Boston Celtics. Too bad, after halftime, they reverted back to their long shorts.
Some teams wear throwback jerseys, like the Cleveland Cavaliers, in regular season games. But to give it a ”retro” feel, wouldn’t it be nicer to incorporate short shorts? I mean, c’mon. For one game only, dude.
